This year at Game in the City I was invited to talk about composing for games during a workshop sound design by Tom Pearce.
Tom Pearce worked with a hand full of students from the different game design colleges in Holland to create custom sound design to a clip provided by Panzar Studios.
During a short Q&A I talked about my roll as a composer in a process like this, what is important in a good coöperation between you (the composer) and the client and what is the best way (in my opinion) to start a project like this.
I had a great time doing this and hope to do it again soon. A big thank you to all the people I met during this day and to the people who organized this event.
